Invitation to the 2017 Election of Convocation Representative into the Governing Council, University of Nigeria

Further to my earlier communication on the 2017 Convocation meeting scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 10, 2017, and in consonance with the law establishing this University, all Principal Officers and Academic Staff of the University of Nigeria are reminded that they are members of Convocation. In this regard, your names have been entered and retained in the Convocation Register, and you have the right to vote and be voted for without any encumbrances.

Consequently, you are all invited to the 2017 Convocation meeting scheduled as follows:

(a)         Convocation meeting at Princess Alexandria Auditorium at 8.30 a.m. prompt;

(b)       Accreditation and voting hold simultaneously at Marguerite Ekpo Convocation Arena from 9.30 a.m. and end at 2.00 p.m.

All Principal Officers and Academic Staff are hereby reminded of the need to carry out this onerous civic responsibility in the interest of our great University.
