Female suicide bombers now strap babies to their backs - Nigerian Military

The Defence Headquarters, DHQ, on Friday disclosed the new tactics being used by female suicide bombers in the North East in order to evade detection by security operatives. A statement issued by the acting director of defence information, Rabe Abubakar, said the attackers, usually teenage girls, now strap babies to their backs in order that security personnel may ordinarily pass them for innocent nursing mothers.

"The two recent suicide bomb attacks in Madagali, Adamawa State are instructive in this regard. The DHQ wishes to seize this opportunity to appeal to members of the public to be patient and cooperate with the military and other security agencies while carrying out thorough security search and checks as the essence is to nip in the bud the murderous intention of the Boko Haram suicide bombers,"  the statement read.
The defence spokesman also explained that

“the usual traffic ‘go-slow’ at military and security check points as a result of rigorous security checks are not meant to cause public discomfort or a deliberate action to induce traffic disruptions on our roads, but an effort put in place towards protecting the lives and properties of our innocent citizens."

He urged members of the public to always

"volunteer useful information to the military and other security agencies that would assist in exposing Boko Haram and their evil machinations in our society and to make our communities safe and secure for all to lives"

Prophesies made by Pastor E A Adeboye at his visit to UNN. [VIDEO]

The visit of the man of God today was a great one. I do not think any student would miss the programme, an event that really changed lives. One of the things he said was that he does not know will be coming back to Nsukka  for such a programme. This is the first of its kind.

In an event that claimed many lives to Jesus.

He said " One of those dreams we call dream like miracles. There are miracles that when you get them, it looks as if you are still dreaming."

"I have gotten such before that I had to say to God 'God if this is a dream, please do not let me wake up'" He added.

The prophesy came after the statement above, He said
"The Almighty is going to give you the similar dream today" He added "The lord say I should tell someone today that very soon he will know that he came to Nsukka because of you" The people echoed a thunderous Amen.
Thank you father!

He read also about the story of a man in the bible who was paralyzed, when he heard about Jesus, wanted to meet him but the people were much, they had to climb the roof oif the building to drop the man down. When Jesus saw the problem and the faith they had, he told him, Man take up your bed and go and every one was amazed. The man carried up the bed that carried him.

He said, "Your miracle you are getting from here will amaze people"

PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE STORMS UNN TODAY [photos]

COME UNTO ME ALL YE THAT LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN AND I WILL GIVE THEE REST. JESUS SAVES.  NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME. GIVE YOUR LIFE TO HIM. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET SAVED FROM SIN.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY ABOUT PASTOR ADEBOYE

Born on March 2, 1942 in Ifewara, Osun State, located in the South-Western part of Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye had a strong desire to attend school in spite of his poor background. He was admitted to Ilesha Grammar School, Osun State, Nigeria in 1956. Young Adeboye had an aptitude for science, particularly mathematics, which he chose to pursue at the university level.

He was admitted to a leading Nigerian university, The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to study mathematics. He was there a while but had to move to the University of Ife, Nigeria to continue his education, due to the ongoing Nigerian civil war at the time. He obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics at University of Ife (now O.A.U) from 1964-1967 and subsequently got his PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Lagos, and worked as a lecturer in mathematics at the universities of Lagos and Ilorin; After joining the RCCG in 1973, he began working to translate the sermons of its founder and then Pastor, Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, from Yoruba into English.

Visiting UNN

In 1981, pastor Adeboye was appointed General Overseer of the church, taking over from Papa Akindayomi, who had died the previous year. For three years he filled the role part-time, still lecturing at Ilorin, until giving up his university position to preach full-time.

The church, which was not well known prior to Adeboye becoming the General Overseer, currently has several branches globally in about 192 nations (as at August 2016) including more than 14,000 in Nigeria. Adeboye has stated that his aim is to put a church within five minutes of every person on Earth.

He is the national president of RCF (an interdenominational fellowship in all the campuses in Nigeria) which is under the umbrella of Christ the Redeemer's Ministry ( CRM ) where he is a founder and president.

At the 2016 annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, while Pastor Adeboye was advising young unmarried born again RCCG members, he encouraged the young unmarried born again male RCCG members to avoid marrying non prayerful females and those "who cannot cook". He also advised young unmarried born again female RCCG members to avoid marrying unserious men. Though Pastor Adeboye was very clear regarding his target audience and what he meant, he was misconstrued and erroneously quoted (particularly on social media sites and in some newspapers) as saying and/or meaning something else and targeting a broader audience of all unmarried individuals irrespective of religious affiliations.

Baby born with an incurable disease that causes his skin to fall off if touched (photos)

One of the joys of every parent is in being able to hold their new baby close. Sadly this cannot be the case for Kadyem, 22, and Kyera, 20, the first time parents of a baby born on December 28 with a rare incurable disease which makes his skin peel off when touched.

Baby Kaheel Clark-Smith was diagnosed at birth with Epidermolyosis Bullosa (EB) after he was born with small blisters on his arm, but the doctors dismissed it as a mild case and sent him home, however, he had extreme breakout days later that resulted in blisters and the loss of 60% of his skin and that was when it was discovered that he has the worst case of the disease.

Kaheel's parents, who are unable to cuddle or kiss their baby, are raising funds to fly their son to a specialist EB centre in Ohio since the hospital where their son was born in Seattle, Washington has very little experience in handling such case.

"We found out this was the 'worst disease you've never heard of' and we were so heartbroken. Even a cuddle or a kiss can cause his skin to blister. The doctors gave us false hope because he was eating and all his vital signs were fine. Then he had a bad breakout and he was admitted to NICU on Jan 4th.

"We just got back the results from the biopsies and have been told it's the worst type of EB."

Brandi started a GoFundMe page to help raise $30,000 for the medical flight to get the baby to the care of experts in Ohio and also for the expensive special clothing and bandage needed to wrap Khaleel.
